1. 01Use the artist search on their Artists, Labels and Producers page to see if unclaimed royalties are being held under your name. Search your artist name, legal name, and common misspellings.
2. 02Register as BOTH the featured artist and the sound recording owner. Owning your masters means two registrations and 95% of the recording royalty.

Unclaimed SoundExchange royalties can be released after 3 years. Money not claimed is money gone.

1. 01Search your song titles in the free Public Work Search. No account needed.
2. 02If songs are missing, unmatched, or only partly claimed, create a free member account, register the works, and use the Claiming and Matching Tools.

Roughly $400M in historical mechanicals sat unmatched. Starting in 2027 The MLC begins distributing leftover unmatched money by market share, mostly to major publishers. Claim yours before it is redistributed.
